Allied Health services for mental & physical wellbeing.

The theme for this year’s Veterans Health Week is mental wellness; recognising the importance of good mental health to overall health and wellbeing.

Physical fitness is important as it can help prevent conditions such as heart disease and diabetes, and help you maintain independence as you age. Mental fitness, however, is often overlooked. Including mental dexterity exercises into your daily routine can help you see the benefits of a healthy mind and a healthier body for years to come.

How do we manage mental wellbeing?

At Alliance Rehabilitation, we have a client-centred approach to therapy; Our team help to maximise your engagement in meaningful activities, enhance your quality of life and help you achieve your goals.

We address a range of concerns such as behavioural or emotional, trauma, crisis, adjustment, grief and loss, family conflicts, relationship issues, substance abuse, learning difficulties, attachment issues and social skills for individuals with a variety of conditions.

These also include people who experience mood and anxiety disorders, who have neurological conditions such as acquired and traumatic brain injury, adjustment disorders, eating disorders and developmental difficulties.

Our psychologists & social workers work interprofessionally within the Alliance Rehabilitation team to ensure participants receive a holistic approach during their intensive treatment.
