Bonnie
Speech Pathologist
Bonnie is a Speech Pathologist who enjoys working with a variety of clients across the lifespan. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys singing and appreciates the complexities of the vocal folds. Bonnie has experience working with dysphagia, voice, social communication, speech and language delays, alternative and augmentative communication, literacy difficulties and stuttering intervention programs.
Bonnie graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, relocating back to Townsville after working in a generalist role in Northern New South Wales. Throughout her career, Bonnie has provided services in aged care and disability settings and is familiar with community services including home and school visits. Bonnie is excited to be working in a community rehabilitation setting with a diverse range of clients. Bonnie is passionate about providing holistic care to achieve participant goals and services that will make meaningful change. Bonnie has an interest in early speech and language development, voice, dysphagia and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
Bonnie is proficient and experienced in completing assessment and intervention for adult and paediatric speech and language, social communication, AAC, voice, dysphagia, stuttering as well as phonological awareness and literacy.
