Speech Pathologist


Sarah is a speech pathologist who has gained valuable experience across a wide range of settings. Her areas of expertise include: articulation, receptive and expressive language, voice, dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), pragmatics (social communication skills) and augmentative and alternative communication.

Sarah graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). She has gained skills across both the adult and paediatric populations in a variety of settings including: acute hospitals, the school system and private practice. Sarah has also worked in a range of metropolitan and regional settings. She is passionate about providing participates with the skills and care needed to achieve their individual communication and swallowing goals. In addition to this experience Sarah has a particular interest, and research experience, in Aphasia as a language disorder after completing her research honours project on Aphasia.
