Speech Pathologist
Mikaela is a Speech Pathologist who loves working with all clients across the lifespan. Mikaela has worked within many areas of Speech Pathology including articulation, language (receptive and expressive), voice, pragmatics (social skills), dysphagia (swallowing difficulties) and augmentative alternative communication. Mikaela is passionate and excited to give you the best experience possible to meet your goals.
Mikaela graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). Mikaela has gained experience in a range of settings including hospital rehabilitation, community, school settings and rural and remote. Her work within rural and remote settings has broadened her mindset for customising intervention to meet your goals and desires. Additionally, Mikaela has experience in working with telehealth (online) sessions, as part of her university honours project.
