From 1st January 2023 Alliance Rehabilitation will not be a Bulk Billed Allied Health service for Team Care Arrangements (TCA), Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP), and Eating Disorder Management Plans (EDP) referrals. Similar to many other services globally, we are experiencing significant increase in costs for resources and service provision. We have previously been able to absorb many of these increased costs, however, to offset some of the inflationary increases, a price adjustment is now required.
In 2023 we will be rolling out a gap payment for TCA, MHCP and EDP services. Please contact us for the current fee schedule. Participants that have commenced Bulk Billed services prior to January 1st 2023, will complete Bulk Billing services under their current referral. Any future referrals will be processed with the gap fee schedule.
Alliance Rehabilitation continues to aim to be an accessible service for the North Queensland community. Therefore, there will be a small number of Bulk Billing spots reserved for participants who are experiencing financial hardships. Provision of these Bulk Billing spots will be considered and approved by our clinical and leadership teams and confirmation will be communicated to participants and referrers at the earliest convenience. Bulk Billing for Townsville & North Queensland
Affordable & easy access to quality health care is vital for managing chronic conditions and preventing complications from leading to unnecessary and avoidable hospital admissions.
To support the North Queensland region Alliance Rehabilitation is proud to offer bulk billed allied health services when you are referred to us by your doctor under a GP Management Plan (GPMP) and Team Care Arrangement (TCA).
The number of bulk billed sessions you can have with us is determined by your doctor and Medicare. There are also many other ways to access our services.
You may be eligible for services under a GP management plan if you have medical condition that has been, or is likely to be, present for at least 6 months. This might include (but is not limited to): Asthma, Cancer, Cardiovascular disease, Diabetes Type 1 or 2, Musculoskeletal conditions such as Osteoarthritis or Chronic pain and Stroke.
