Social Work promotes social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people to enhance wellbeing. Social Workers apply theories of human behaviours and social systems including social justice, human rights, collective responsibilities, and respect for diversities. They can identify and address life challenges, such as systemic and structural issues, that create inequality, injustice, and discrimination.
