Before graduating from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2022, Shaun worked in the mining engineering industry for 18 years where he developed a sound understanding of workplace demands and ergonomics on the human body in industrial settings. Shaun is also passionate about endurance sports and engaging youth in sport to develop their gross motor skills.
His interest areas include: Neurological Rehabilitation (Stroke, ABI); Neurodegenerative conditions (Parkinson’s Disease; Motor Neurone Disease), Falls Prevention; Balance and Co-ordination retraining; Special interest in return to sports such as running, cricket, swimming for both adult and paediatric clientele & Musculoskeletal physiotherapy; Strength and conditioning and Dry Needling.
