Sam
Physiotherapist
Sam is a qualified Physiotherapist who is skilled in a variety of clinical areas. He has experience in geriatric, orthopaedic, neurological rehabilitation, community rehabilitation and pain management and has a strong interest in community rehabilitation.
Sam graduated from James Cook University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Sam has worked in aged care facilities, performed home visit sessions and is now enjoying working in community rehabilitation. Sam is passionate about holistic care, working collaboratively with other professions in order to help participants along their rehab journey to achieve their goals, return to work and return to community participation.
Sam has a special interest in the following clinical areas:
- Hydrotherapy (one on one and group classes)
- Manual handling and ergonomics training.
- Geriatric rehabilitation and rehabilitation following deconditioning.
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Orthopaedic and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Exercise prescription
