Ray is our psychologist who graduated from the University of Queensland, earning First Class Honours and receiving multiple Dean’s Commendations in recognition of his commitment to academic excellence. His dedication to psychology resulted in the publication of his final-year honours thesis in Springer Nature, a well-respected academic publisher.

Ray’s professional interests extend across diverse areas, especially child and adolescent psychology. He has a profound interest in working with families confronted by child behavioural and emotional challenges, emphasising early intervention and fostering robust support networks to empower children and adolescents towards a brighter future.

Ray is also an advocate for neurodiversity and the LGBTQ+ community. His therapeutic approach is rooted in inclusivity, appreciation, and the celebration of diversity. He possesses an extensive repertoire in addressing a wide spectrum of clinical mental difficulties, encompassing Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and trauma-related symptoms; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide insights into complex health conditions.

Having grown up in Malaysia, Ray brings to his practice a deep understanding of the profound impact of diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. He actively provides valuable support to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities.

In every client interaction, Ray remains dedicated to delivering the utmost support and care in the journey to recovery. His compassionate and easy-going nature allows clients to feel at ease as they navigate the path toward well-being. Ray firmly stands as a dedicated advocate for his clients, prioritising their mental well-being above all else. He consistently goes above and beyond, striving to support and empower his clients on their quest towards a brighter future. Ray is a registered psychologist accredited by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a registered NDIS Positive Behaviour Practitioner, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Ray is an LGBTQIA+ aware and neuro-affirmative clinician, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
