The program is provided for people who wish to improve their balance, mobility, endurance and speed of walking or pushing in a community setting. It’s provided by a multidisciplinary team working interprofessionally, to assist participants to achieve their community-based goals and re-connect with their community.
This program is designed to improve muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness, aerobic fitness, better coordination, agility and flexibility. It can also foster better social skills, improved mental functioning, psychological wellbeing, greater self-confidence and self-esteem.
Being physically mobile and completed a brief evaluation from one of our clinicians
